Our Pastor

Pastor Brian McWethy is married to Vickie (LeFevre) McWethy. The recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary. They have four children: Keegan (Amber), Caleb (Tiffany), Brianna (Chas Shields), and Mikayla (Micah Sumner). They also have three grandchildren, Hunter and Kace (Keegan, Amber), Emerson (Caleb, Tiffany) and one more grandbaby on the way.
 
Brian served for 6 years (4 years active, 2 years inactive) in the U.S. Army as a COMSEC Repair Technician (Crypto Ranger). During his time of service he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, 2 Army Achievement Medals, an Army Commendation Medal and several Letters of Recommendation. He graduated as distinguished graduate from AIT and PLDC. He also attended and graduated from Air Assault and Path Finder schools.

 

Brian has a real passion for the lost. His desire is to see them become fully surrendered followers/disciples of Christ. He has been walking with Christ for the last 28 years. He has served in the role of Ministry Team Leader, Small Group Bible Study Coordinator, AWANA Commander, Evangelism Lead Trainer, Chairman of Deacons, and Director of Leadership Development for the Sinnissippi Baptist Association. Brian has planted two churches that continue to grow and is currently Lead Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Sublette. Brian is also a Church Consultant for IBSA (Illinois Baptist State Association). In that role he works with the Pastors and leaders of the churches in
Northwest Illinois to ensure they are healthy, growing and on mission. He is also a Fire
Chaplain to his local community.
Brian has a BSCS from Lewis University. He received the Outstanding Business Award
and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Divinity. Brian also brings over 21 years of
managerial and administrative experience from the business world.
